On November 29, 2021, a scientific seminar “The future of pro-defense organizations in Poland in the context of contemporary security challenges” will be held in Rzeszów.  The event is organized jointly by the WSPiA Rzeszów School of Higher Education and the Józef Piłsudski “Strzelec” Association in Rzeszów. 

During the seminar, the discussion will include the protection of the Polish eastern border, the Russian war of the new generation and the Chinese doctrine of unlimited war as well as the military, strategic and political use of cultural and nation-building processes in Central, Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

The main topic of the seminar, however, will be pro-defense organizations, therefore the panelists will discuss the role and tasks of the Riflemen’s Association “Strzelec” in the next 10-25 years, independent military groups and their importance for the Polish security system.

The participants will also talk about the role of local government in supporting pro-defense organizations, the future of pro-defense organizations in a secure internal system in the light of social and political changes, and pro-defense organizations in the east.
