Scientist from the Koszalin University of Technology to continue research on compact heat exchangers

25.08.2021

Dr Eng. Marcin Kruzel from the Department of Energy at the Koszalin University of Technology will continue research on the construction of compact heat exchangers. The scientist was among 58 young researchers who received funding under the Miniatura Competition of the National Science Center.

The scientist deals with the search for innovative solutions in construction of compact heat exchangers. As part of the project, it is planned to study the condensation of refrigerants on a bundle of mini-channel tubular compact heat exchangers, including the impact of the design of heat exchangers, the arrangement of their components in relation to each other and the type of working factors used on the intensity of heat transfer.

The aim of the Miniatura competition is to support scientific activities leading to the preparation of a future research project that can be submitted in competitions of the National Science Center or other national and international competitions.
