Scientists from the Gdańsk University of Technology have developed a prototype of an innovative multi-phase generator. It guarantees the operation of the machine, which it powers during the failure of one of the phases, and its production does not require the use of permanent magnets, so users become independent from Asian markets.

The multi-phase induction generator constructed by scientists from the Gdańsk University of Technology is reliable and ecological. It can be used in wind, water and gas power plants or even by the army for example, in tanks or armored cars.

Permanent magnets, commonly used in other devices of this type, were not used for its construction.

“Devices without permanent magnets are extremely desirable, so we are sure that our generator will arouse interest, especially on the European market”, says research team leader Dr Roland Ryndzionek.
