Scientists of the University of Warsaw in a special report summarized “Distance learning. Understand the (unknown) 10-month period of e-learning”.
The report states that in the future it may be possible to obtain a diploma staying at home. Distance education will also provide wider access to classes at friendly universities around the world. It will allow for even greater personalization of learning and adapting classes to the possibilities and interest of the student.
The authors of the report emphasize, that “start-ups active in the area of creating tools for distance education are working out solutions that, based on algorithms and data on the way of learning, will generate individual learning paths”.
The main challenges for e-learning include: preventing the mechanisms of digital exclusion, maintaining adequate motivation of students to learn, and psychological and didactic effects of distance learning.
