Silesian University of Technology to open the European Center of Innovative Technologies for Health

The European Center of Innovative Technologies for Health (European HealthTech Innovation Center – EHTIC) at the Silesian University of Technology will be opened in fall 2021.

The Center is a state-of-the-art center that, in cooperation with medical universities, world technology leaders and with the support of local government authorities, will conduct scientific, research and implementation activities in order to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The highly specialized research and technology laboratories will be created there to support companies implementing medical products and technologies.

The employees of the Center will try to meet the challenges of modern medicine in the area of ​​an ageing society and personalized medicine.

EHTIC is the result of the Assist Med Sport Silesia project – the Silesian Engineering Support Center for Medicine and Sport co-financed by the European Union under the Regional Operational Program for 2014-2020.
