Słupsk organization to hold conference on current problems of health resorts in Central and Eastern Europe

The Institute of Socio-Economic Geography and Tourism of the Pomeranian University in Słupsk, the Committee of Geographical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw and the Słupsk Branch of the Polish Geographical Society are inviting participants to the scientific conference “Health Resorts of Central and Eastern Europe – the state and prospects in the context of environmental changes”. 

The conference is scheduled for December 7 online will focus on the current problems of health resorts in Central and Eastern Europe.

The organizers are planning to focus on the search for and description of natural resources of health resorts in the conditions of a changing climate, point to functional and spatial changes in health resorts, identify best practices in innovations of spa services, and recognize the socio-economic aspects of spa operation, taking into account the pandemic reality.
