Software programmers are the sign of the technological revolution in Poland

250 thousand programmers working in Poland are one fourth of all IT developers employed in Central and Eastern Europe.

They are among the best professionals in the world – emphasize the authors of the latest Stack Overflow report “Central & Eastern Europe Developer Landscape 2017”.


Polish universities educate over one million students. There are 69 higher education institutions in Warsaw, 27 in Wrocław, and 21 in Poznań and Kraków. Reputable universities are also in Katowice, Łódź and Gdańsk and Gdynia. And it results in the largest number of technology companies and start-ups created there.
