13.10.2020

On the occasion of the inauguration of the new academic year, the Stanisław Staszic State Higher School in Piła will launch new engineering studios housing engineering workshops equipped with top-class apparatus.

The modern laboratories are the part of the academic campus. In the production engineering laboratory, students can use the most modern welding simulator, which eliminates toxic substances and UV radiation from the process. There is also a laboratory injection molding machine that allows students to make samples for strength tests of plastics.

The metrology laboratory purchased a 3D scanner that allows students to measure extremely precisely details that are difficult to see by the human eye. The thermodynamics and exploitation laboratory and the combustion engine laboratory have also gained modern equipment, and the vehicle inspection station has been equipped with apparatus that shows students the methods and analyzes used in vehicle diagnostics.
