State Higher Vocational School in Nysa launched Virtual reality studio

Students of architecture, computer science, management and production engineering at the State Higher Vocational School in Nysa can use the new Virtual reality studio. It was created as part of a project co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund.

The new studio includes design classes, computer graphics, spatial modeling, architectural illumination. As part of the project, the school purchased new computers and equipment, including: the FARO Focus M70 desktop 3D scanner, the FARO Freestyle 3D mobile scanning head and the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 portable workstation.

Students and lecturers can also use the following software: FARO EDU Scene (for managing data from the scanner), PointCAB (for processing point clouds for use in CAD / BIM systems) and simulation tools for modeling, visualization, control and optimization of logistics and production processes.
