Student of the University of Economics in Poznań wins the Student Nobel Prize

Magdalena Nowak, student of computer science and econometrics at the University of Economics in Poznań, was among 8 outstanding students, who won the Student Nobel Prize. She was awarded in the category of social activity. The jury appreciated her activity and involvement in charity and educational projects within the student organization.

The laureate coordinated 10 social and environmental projects. They consisted of on the development of an application for teenagers with depression, a technology capable of purifying water from pharmaceuticals, bio carwash detergents and a diabetic bar. She also lectured for students and schoolchildren, organized charity campaigns and conferences devoted to environmental protection and a healthy lifestyle.

The Student Nobel Prize is a nationwide competition organized by the Independent Students’ Association, aiming to award students with outstanding achievements.
