Student of the University of Gdańsk appreciated by the Scottish Parliament

Joanna Mazzocchi, a teacher of the Polish school in Glasgow and a student of Polish postgraduate studies “Polish Language Teacher” at the University of Gdańsk – teaches Polish language to Ukrainian refugees remotely. Her work was noticed by the Scottish Parliament.

“The Scottish Parliament applauds the actions of Joanna Mazzochi, which it asssess as an impeccable example of helping Ukrainian refugees and wishes her and her family all the best.

Joanna Mazzochi is leading four groups of refugees every Thursday and Tuesday – for a total of about one hundred students. Classes are held at the People’s University of Łeba at the parish of St. James the Apostle in Łeba. At the same time, he is collecting funds to help Ukrainians in his current place of residence – the Scottish city of Wishaw.
