Katarzyna Baumgart, a student of the Faculty of Economics, Finance and Management at the University of Szczecin won first place in the 9th international GeCCo (Global eCollaboration Competition), which was held online on March 6-7, 2021.

The competition has been organized since 2012 by the International Project Management Association based in Switzerland. This year’s competition was attended by almost 160 participants from 26 countries. Students were divided into 5-person teams (from different countries/continents) that managed the project online.

The participants’ task was to prepare a complete project documentation and implementation phase plan in just 24 hours using the available tools, crossing time zones between continents without knowing each other beforehand. The work of the teams was assessed by an international jury from 26 different countries.
