Uniwersytet im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu

University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań was the first university in Poland to receive accreditation and the title of an involved university. The title is awarded by the international organization Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities (ACEEU).

During the one and a half years of data collection and work of two different expert committees, fifteen standards were analyzed – assigned to five main areas, i.e. strategy and orientation, people and organizational potential, motivators, education, research and the third mission, as well as innovation and impact.

The ACEEU accreditation is the only one that assesses the social impact of a university on the environment, the quality of cooperation with partners from outside the university, and the implementation of the idea of social responsibility, including the goals of sustainable development. So far, ACEEU accreditation has been awarded to 13 universities from around the world.
