University of Agriculture in Krakow joins the Association of European Universities of Life Sciences

The University of Agriculture in Krakow (URK) has become a member of the international cooperation network – Association for European Life Science Universities (ICA). The Association of European Universities of Life Sciences is an organization founded in 1988 as an association of agricultural departments of European universities. 

ICA consists of about 60 universities from the European Union and the countries of the European Higher Education Area focused on life sciences related to agriculture, food, forestry, natural resources, rural development and the natural environment.

The aim of the organization is to integrate the European environment, by creating favorable conditions for the exchange of experiences and increasing its importance both in Europe and in the world.

So far, ICA from Poland has had two universities: Warsaw University of Life Sciences and the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław.
