University of Economics in Katowice signs Mining agreements

The University of Economics in Katowice has signed cooperation agreements: bilateral with the Central Mining Institute (GIG) and tripartite with GIG and Polska Grupa Górnicza SA (PGG).

The purpose of the agreement with GIG is to disseminate technical and economic knowledge in the field of management, including management in industry, as well as to implement educational and research projects using the scientific and educational achievements and the experience of professional parties to the agreement.

The tripartite agreement of universities with GIG and PGG is to provide the employees of the mining company with support and assistance in adjusting to changes in the economic environment. The scope of the agreement includes combining the teaching potential, research facilities and organizational potential of the parties, strengthening competences, increasing the development potential of PGG SA employees, as well as facilitating adaptation to changes in the economic environment.
