The University of Gdańsk (UG) moved up 200 positions in the world ranking of Times Higher Education Impact Rankings (THE Impact). It was also classified the highest among all assessed Polish universities.
The ranking comprehensively assesses the policy and activity of universities in the implementation of the 17th UN Sustainable Development Goals. The data presented in the THE Impact ranking covers the full spectrum of organizational, research and educational activities of the university. Acquiring and processing data for this ranking requires a thorough analysis of all university activities
“The highest position in Poland, promotion and high classification in the world, taking into account the huge interest in the ranking and enormous competition, it is undoubtedly a reason to be proud. It is also a signal that the vision of the University of Gdańsk as a socially responsible and engaged university is being implemented in the right way”, says the Rector of the University of Gdańsk, Prof. Piotr Stepnowski.
