University of Gdańsk becomes the leader of the consortium of the project “Young People Network for Balticness (YoPeNET)”

The University of Gdańsk became the leader of the consortium implementing the project “Young People Network for Balticness (YoPeNET)”. The main goal of the scientists is to involve young residents of the Baltic region in the dialogue on transregional identity.

The project includes educational or cultural activities for young people aged 15–30 by enabling them to learn and talk together. Students of secondary and higher schools will take part in summer schools and workshops. The activities are financed by the Council of the Baltic Sea States as part of the Project Support Facility competition.

The project partners are the European Solidarity Center and the Zatoka Foundation (Poland), the University of Greifswald (Germany), the Baltic Federal University of Immanuel Kant in Kaliningrad (Russia), Belarusian State University (Belarus), Copenhagen Business School (Denmark) and Södertörn University (Sweden).
