University of Humanities and Natural Sciences in Częstochowa supports overweight children

University of Humanities and Natural Sciences in Częstochowa is a leader of the project supporting the treatment of children who are overweight, suffer from obesity and its metabolic complications. This is the largest research project implemented at the university in Częstochowa with a budget of almost 7.5 million PLN.

The project is implemented as part of a consortium: University of Humanities and Sciences in Częstochowa, Tymbark MWS Sp. z o.o. Sp. K., Institute “Monument-Children’s Health Center”, Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences of the Lodz University of Technology and the Oncology Center-Institute of Maria Skłodowska-Curie.

The project involves the use of a soluble preparation of potato starch with prebiotic properties, the use of which will introduce innovative vegetable and fruit preparations with health properties for children with obesity to the market. The result will be global innovation in the form of new technology that will be implemented on the market.
