University of Rzeszów launched postgraduate studies for teachers of the Polish diaspora

The University of Rzeszów (UR) in cooperation with the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and Science has launched postgraduate qualification studies in teaching Polish. They are intended for teachers of schools abroad teaching Polish to children and young people of the Polish diaspora.

Studies are conducted at the Institute of Polish Studies and Journalism of the Collegium of Humanities of the University of Agriculture in close cooperation with the Department of Postgraduate Education of the University of Agriculture.

They last 3 semesters. The program provides for 400 hours of classes, including 90 hours of internships, most importantly, they qualify for teaching Polish as a second subject.

All postgraduate studies are conducted remotely, without the need to come to Rzeszów, and the participants of the studies are Polish students from Great Britain, Spain, Canada, Chile and Ukraine.
