University of Rzeszów signs agreement on cooperation with the Military Unit GROM

The University of Rzeszów (UR) will develop methods for the GROM military units that will allow to offer the best possible preparation of soldiers for completing service and reduce the risk of injury. The cooperation agreement between the UR and the Military Unit No. 2305 GROM was signed by the Rector of the UR, Prof. Sylwester Czopek and Col. Grzegorz Mikłusiak, commander of GROM.

Military Unit No. 2305 (GROM) was formed on July 13, 1990. It is the first Polish formation capable of carrying out a full range of protection and anti-terrorist operations in Poland and abroad.

-Bearing in mind that both parties have specific experience and highly qualified staff, as well as have a modern research and medical equipment, the cooperation between UR and JW 2305 is intended to conduct scientific research in the field of medicine and to introduce innovative solutions resulting from the implementation of the objectives of the agreement – informs Dr Maciej Ulita.
