University of Szczecin becomes a partner of the Baltic DigiTour project

The University of Szczecin is a partner of the project “Connectivist Massive Open Online Courses for Digitalization in Baltic Tourism Attractions”, abbreviated as “Baltic DigiTour”. The aim of the researchers is to develop ways to establish and maintain a group of practitioners who take up new scientific challenges and look for new opportunities in the field of digital technologies related to tourist attractions.

“Baltic DigiTour” is a seed money project, co-financed by the Interreg Baltic Sea Region program, under the European Regional Development Fund. Financial support for this one-year project will allow for preliminary research and definition of the scope for the main project.

Other project partners include the University of Applied Sciences in Stralsund (lead partner) and the Tourism Board of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany and the Sea Fisheries Institute, Gdynia Aquarium National Research Institute and LAB University of Applied Sciences, (Finland).
