University of Warsaw to research COVID-19 pandemic in Poland from a psychological perspective

Scientists of the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Warsaw (UW) began research on the psychological aspects and consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic in Poland and in the world. They established 24 research teams that presented the results of their research in a joint publication.

The reports are addressed to all kinds of recipients. Everyone can find interesting and important information. The research concerned the mental health of Poles, methods of coping with stress, the situation of various age groups during the epidemic – including children and adolescents, beliefs, behaviors and attitudes of Poles, e.g. readiness to be vaccinated and compliance with restrictions – says Dr Małgorzata Gambin from the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Warsaw, a coordinator of the reports.

The reports were prepared by scientists from various fields of psychology, including adult clinical psychology, child and family clinical psychology, health, developmental, educational psychology, neuropsychology, social and personality psychology, and economic psychology.
