University of Wrocław becomes the leader of the ACTRIS project consortium

The ACTRIS project – Infrastructure for the study of aerosols, clouds and trace gases, in which the University of Wrocław is a consortium leader, has received funding under the Intelligent Development Operational Program 2014-2020.

The project aims to expand the research infrastructure for the study of aerosols, clouds and trace gases, and to strengthen collaboration with the pan-European network of Actris research infrastructures. As part of the project, equipment will be purchased to test atmospheric aerosol and its impact on climate change, including lidar, photometer, nephelometer and real-time particle spectrometers.

The project consortium includes the Wrocław university, the Institute of Geophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Environmental Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management, the University of Warsaw, the University of Silesia and the Poznań University of Life Sciences.
