University of Wrocław to hold scientific seminar “New technologies in criminal law – desired directions of reform”

The Digital Justice Incubator of Scientific Excellence operating at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wrocław and the International Association of Criminal Law – Polish section are inviting participants to the scientific seminar “New technologies in criminal law – desirable directions for reform”.

The seminar will be held on November 25 in a hybrid form: in person at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wrocław in building D, room 2D and via the Zoom platform. The organizers have planned three panels devoted to the issues of the impact of artificial intelligence on substantive and procedural criminal law.

The aim of the seminar is to start a scientific discussion on the use of new technologies in criminal law and their impact on the criminal justice system. It is one of the most important and topical issues in the science of criminal law around the world.
