07.09.2021

The “Smart Cities EMC Network for Training (SCENT)” project is implemented at the Institute of Automatic Control, Electronics and Electrical Engineering of the University of Zielona Góra. Its main goal is to create a network for PhD students to deal with specific issues related to the electromagnetic compatibility of smart cities.

SCENT PhD students will study phenomena and solve problems related to the negative impact of electrical and electronic devices on each other and on living matter. Recently, scientists from Indonesia, Malaysia, Italy, Brazil, Egypt, Mexico and South Africa, checked whether the electromagnetic field generated by electric buses and charging stations meets European standards.

The partners of the project are leading industry representatives, including Jaguar Land Rover, THALES and ABB and Polish companies: Enea Operator, Tauron Dystrybucja, Solaris Bus & Coach, Ursus Bus and Ekoenergetyka – Polska.
