The Vector Science Club operating at the Faculty of Computer Science of the Białystok University of Technology (PB) is working on a project aimed at the families of people suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, which will help them understand the problems of people suffering from memory disorders.

Students created a virtual model of an apartment. It is an element of the game that allows understanding the specificity of the disease in a suggestive way through VR technology and special goggles.

The game is interactive. While moving around the apartment, the user can carry and touch various objects. He is also faced with the difficulties of everyday life that allow him to empathize with the situation of sick people.

Students from the Faculty of Computer Science cooperate in the implementation of the project with the students from the Faculty of Architecture. In the dementia project, they consulted their ideas with students from the Faculty of Psychology at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.
