At the French Embassy in Warsaw, in the presence of Frédérik Billet, the French Ambassador to Poland, the French International Institute of Nuclear Energy (I2EN) signed cooperation agreements with the Warsaw University of Technology and the University of Warsaw.

According to the French Embassy, the third agreement with the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow will be concluded in the coming days.

These agreements establish a framework for joint activities related to the demonstration of the attractiveness of the nuclear sector, with the aim of attracting more students to study in nuclear energy and then to work in the research sector, in regulatory bodies or in the nuclear industry.

“I hope these agreements will contribute to a further deepening of Franco-Polish academic relations. Polish students interested in the nuclear industry are welcome in France, both in terms of studies, internships and apprenticeships in companies in the nuclear sector, or participation in training at nuclear facilities”, said Ambassador Frédéric Billet.
