Warsaw University of Technology to cooperate with Alstom

The Faculty of Automobiles and Working Machines of the Warsaw University of Technology has signed a cooperation agreement with the company Alstom in training and developing the competences of future engineers in the railway sector in Poland. The project provides for the exchange of experiences, the implementation of joint research and development projects and extensive support for university students. 

The initiative is aimed at supporting universities in educating students through the development of appropriate competences of future engineers in the railway sector in Poland. In addition, it will enable students to complete apprenticeships and internships, as well as further career development in Alstom. The cooperation also includes organizing joint training courses, conferences and scientific meetings as well as joint research and development works.

Alstom is a world leader in the production and maintenance of rolling stock and rail traffic control systems. The company has been operating in Poland for almost 25 years. It is a leader in sustainable and intelligent mobility, manufacturer of the world’s first commercially proven Coradia iLint hydrogen train.
