The European Commission has published the Work Programmes for the major components of Horizon Europe for 2023-2024, including the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), the National Science Centre (NCN) has announced.

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) are part of the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme. They support researchers at different stages of their careers by funding research and training in Europe and non-European countries.

At the same time, they enable institutions to develop their staff through the employment of researchers and the participation of staff in international research and training projects. Projects within the scope of the MSCA can be carried out in any scientific discipline and can concern both basic and applied research. The basic requirement is international mobility of researchers.

Funding for the 5 main types of MSCA projects has been allocated over €886 million for 2023 and over €902 million for 2024.
