Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University to act for environmental protection

Rector of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) in Warsaw, Fr. Prof. Stanisław Dziekoński and the President of Bank Ochrony Środowiska Bogusław Białowąs signed a letter of intent concerning joint actions for the environment.

Their cooperation will include joint activities in the ecology, biology, engineering and environmental protection, including energy efficiency, renewable energy sources, electromobility, waste management and water and sewage management. The cooperation is to include research and development, organization of joint activities and educational campaigns for the environment, expert cooperation, organization of training, internships, apprenticeships and post-graduate studies.

– As the University, we focus on all aspects of human life ranging from the humanities, social, exact or biological sciences through medicine to environmental engineering. I am convinced that the agreement and our cooperation will have a positive impact on the natural environment both through research and planned educational campaigns – said the Rector of UKSW, Fr. Prof. Stanisław Dziekoński.
