KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. and PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna signed a research cooperation agreement with a scientific consortium, which includes the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) in Warsaw, the Information Processing Center, the National Research Institute and the Military Institute of Aviation Medicine.

The signatories of the document declared establishing a multidisciplinary research center, developing solutions for the energy and industrial sectors.

This is an important agreement for UKSW, which is associated with the creation of a new Digital Science Center, addressed directly to the digital economy. Its creation is the result of the dynamic development of the university. – I am glad that to this initiative we have managed to find such strong and important partners for the development of the Polish economy. UKSW is entering a new space of functioning – both in the light of the new law on higher education as well as economic and social needs – said the Rector of UKSW, Rev. Prof. Stanisław Dziekoński.
