Environmental Aerodynamics Laboratory to be created at the Krakow University of Technology

The Environmental Laboratory of Environmental Aerodynamics, unique in the scale of Europe, will be built at the Krakow University of Technology (PK). It will be a modern solution to fight for clean air in the region and in Poland. The University has obtained nearly PLN 18 million for this purpose from the Regional Operational Program of the Małopolska Region for 2014-2020.

The laboratory is planned to be built on the campus in Czyżyny. It will be the only research center of environmental aerodynamics in Poland – emphasizes the Krakow university.

It will run model studies and computer simulations regarding the dynamic impact on smog and airing of cities.
The Environmental Aerodynamics Laboratory is to be created by 2021. The total value of the project is over PLN 24.6 million.
