Gowin: We want to develop cooperation with the US in creating cancer drugs

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education Jarosław Gowin announced that Poland will cooperate with oncologists from the United States in creating modern cancer drugs. The cooperation will include research of the cancer detection and prevention.

During his visit to the USA Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin together with representatives of the Ministry of Health, visited the oncological hospital MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas, where he stressed:- We are very interested in developing cooperation with MD Anderson. We want to focus our efforts on research and development, including the biotechnology sector. It would be valuable for us to use the experience of MD Anderson to research modern cancer drugs.
