Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce to launch Monoprofiled Center for Medical Simulation

Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the Jan Kochanowski University (UJK) in Kielce will be transformed into Collegium Medicum UJK from November 1 and will open the Monoprofiled Center for Medical Simulation for nurses and midwives.

The center will be established as part of the SIMED project and cost PLN 4.2 million, of which 3.54 million is co-financed by the European Union. The laboratory, equipped with the latest phantoms will be used to train nurses and midwives.

The university authorities emphasize, that since 2005 PLN 120 million has been invested in the medical department. The new laboratories are equipped with the high- tech and world-class solutions.
