Rector of the Lodz University of Technology – Prof. Sławomir Wiak and the rector of the Medical University of Lodz – Prof. Radzisław Kordek signed a letter of intent on cooperation under the EcoUMED program. The project is to support pro-ecological activities carried out for the sustainable development of Łódź universities.

In the signed document, the signatories expressed their interest in new, joint scientific and research projects on the application and interdisciplinary nature. One of the important areas of cooperation will be the diagnosis and prevention of the 50+ society.

The university’s cooperation will also concern the modernization of the infrastructure of the Medical University, including the development of the “smart buildings” as well as autonomous transport using 5G technology.
