The Lublin University of Technology has started cooperation with Speed Car Motor Lublin club. Its goal is to optimize the propulsion system of the speedway motor and obtain its maximum race performance.

The university will develop a system for active registration, transmission and data analysis dedicated to speedway sports. Such a system will allow to upgrade speedway games to a higher technological level.

Researchers from the technical university and mechanics from Motor Lublin will work on improving driving techniques.
– Our goal is to provide technological support to the Motoru Lublin team, which advanced to the PGE Ekstraliga 2019 games – says Prof. Mirosław Wendeker, head of the Department of Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics and Air Drives.

The research will be financed from the Regional Initiative Excelence project from the funds of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
