Medical University of Wroclaw debuted in the Shanghai ranking

Medical University of Wroclaw made its debut on the prestigious list of the best universities in the world in the category of medical faculties. In the Shanghai ranking, only 5 Polish medical high schools were classified.

The Medical University of Wroclaw was ranged among the best medical faculties in the world on the position 300- 400th, together with medical schools from Gdańsk and Łódź. The Collegium Medicum of the Jagiellonian University was ranged 200- 300th , and medical universities from Warsaw and Katowice were ranged 400- 500th. In total, 25 Polish universities, including 4 Wrocław high schools were classified in this year’s ranking.

The Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities was created in 2003 and since then has been publishing an annual list of the 500 best universities in the world and separate lists of the leaders of particular fields and majors. In the overall ranking, Poland is represented by the University of Warsaw (range 301-400) and the Jagiellonian University (401-500).
