National Science Center to allocate PLN 400 million for research projects

National Science Center announced the results of the 14th Opus and Preludium calls. Researchers submitted 3122 applications, of which 669 projects were accepted for funding. National Science Center granted PLN 397,5 million for their implementation.

In the Opus the Center accepted: “Transformations of Polish food in a cosmopolitan food landscape” by Prof. Fabio Parasecoli from the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, “Architecture of the Legal Mind” by Prof. Bartosz Brożek from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University and “Fish under stress – a dermal stress response system – how does it work?” by Prof. Ewa Kulczykowska from the Institute of Oceanology, Polish Academy of Sciences.

In the Preludium co-financing will include: “Reception of ancient philosophy in the works of Mulla Sadra” by Agnieszka Erdt from the Faculty of Philosophy and Sociology of the University of Warsaw and “The influence of magnetic admixtures on states bound in superconductors” by Eng Szczepan Głodzik from the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin.
