Over PLN 100 million for innovative projects in the power industry

The National Center for Research and Development offers over 100 million PLN for the implementation of innovative projects run by entrepreneurs from the power industry. This is the result of the second competition of the PBSE sector program. Its main objective is to increase the innovation of the national electricity sector in the perspective of 2023 – informs the National Center for Research and Development.

– Projects implemented under sectoral programs of NCRD are to bring benefits not only to the given industry, but to the entire economy and citizens. Over PLN 100 million, which we offer to Polish entrepreneurs for the development of better, more effective and ecological solutions, is an investment that will pay back and serve next generations of Poles – says Piotr Dardziński, deputy minister of science and higher education.

Thanks to the support of the National Center for Research and Development, 19 companies will be able to implement projects – among others: “The use of low-dimensional structures to broaden the absorption spectrum and increase the efficiency of silicon cells in the IBC or BIFACIAL architecture” by ML System SA, “Development and implementation of the technological process processing of waste from fluidized bed boilers using CO2 for the production of cement substitute “proposed by the Tauron group or” Development of innovative biomass treatment technology to improve fuel parameters and increase the possibility of biomass utilization ” by OZE 11.
