Permanent exhibition of the Małopolska Science Center Cogiteon to be opened in Krakow

Until 2022, at the runway at Czyżyny in Krakow, in the vicinity of the Polish Aviation Museum, the modern headquarters of the Małopolska Science Center (MCN) Cogiteon will be built. The construction will resemble a flying plane. Its four buildings will be connected by a common elevation and underground corridor.

Piotr Koziarz, spokesman for the MCN explained, that the heart of the facility will be a permanent exhibition, divided into five thematic sections and a space for temporary exhibitions. Next to it there will be six laboratories where viewers will learn about chemistry, physics, computers, DIY, botany. The garden will be created on the roof.

On July 16, 2019, the permanent set design was presented, which was prepared by the Krakow’s Koza Nostra Studio. On the walls of individual, differently colored rooms there will be decorations depicting images of neurons, entangled DNA strands, human tissue and electronic integrated circuit. Installations will be activated during the shows.
