Polish and Portuguese researchers to examine the indoor air quality

Polish and Portuguese scientists will carry out the project “Indoor air quality and public health implications of fungi and mycotoxins contamination of HVAC systems”.

The project has received funding from the National Academic Exchange Agency as part of the bilateral exchange program for scientists between Poland and Portugal.

The coordinator of the Polish side is Dr Magdalena Twarużek, Prof. Associate from the Department of Physiology and Toxicology, Institute of Experimental Biology, Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Bydgoszcz. The Portuguese side is coordinated by Dr Susana Viegas from the Centro de Investigação em Saúde Pública, Escola Nacional de Saúde Pública in Lisbon.
