“The future of Polish students in Europe and in the world” is the topic of a lecture held by Prof. Jerzy Buzek at the Gdańsk University of Technology. The lecture is scheduled for Friday, 18 May at 13.00 in the 007 auditorium of the Faculty of Management and Economics. Admission is free, but the number of places is limited.
After the lecture, the students will have an opportunity to ask questions to the professor. The lecture will be accompanied by a review of the scientific activities at the Gdańsk Technical university. The students will present their achievements in the lobby of the Management and Economics department. The organizers of the lecture are the University Student Organization “Horizons” and the Student Government of the Gdańsk University of Technology.
Professor Jerzy Buzek is a Polish politician and chemist, member of the Sejm of the 3rd term and Prime Minister in 1997-2001. Since 2004, he has been a Member of the European Parliament, and in the years 2009-2012 was the chairman of this institution.
