Researchers of the University of Casimir the Great receive silver medals at the Nuremberg fair

Researchers at the University of Casimir the Great in Bydgoszcz won the silver medals of the 70th International Trade Fair “Ideas – Inventions – New Products” iENA 2018 in Nuremberg.

Researchers from Bydgoszcz received a silver medal for pro-ecological technology for the industrial management of PLA, polylactide as an alternative polyol raw material for the production of polyurethanes for the construction industry. The second silver medal and diploma of the German Institute was received by scientists for light strengthened dental implants.

The iENA exhibition is one of the oldest and largest exhibitions of inventions in the world – the first exhibition took place in 1948. The Polish inventors’ stand, including the Bydgoszcz university, was organized under the patronage of the Main Council of Research Institutes and the Polish Women Science Network. More than 800 inventions were evaluated.
