Scientist of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań becomes the president of the Polish Entomological Society

Dr Eng. Paweł Sienkiewicz from the Department of Entomology and Environmental Protection of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań was elected the president of the Polish Entomological Society. The choice was made during the 51st Congress of the Society in Urszulin, in the Poleski National Park.

The Society’s board also includes scientists from other centers: Dr Tomasz Pyrcz from the Jagiellonian University (vice president), Dr Rafał Ruta from the University of Wrocław (Treasurer), Dr Dawid Marczak from the Kampinos National Park for the new three-year term.

Dr Miłosz A. Mazur from the University of Opole, Dr Agnieszka Soszyńska-Maj from the University of Lodz, Dr hab. Katarzyna Golan from the University of Life Sciences in Lublin and Dr Karol Szawaryn from the Museum and Institute of Zoology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw became members of the Board.
