On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of regaining independence by Poland, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education together with the Council for Social Affairs of the Polish Episcopate Conference is organizing a series of ten scientific thematic conferences in the most important Polish academic centers.
The project “Polonia Restituta. Decalogue for Poland on the 100th anniversary of independence “will begin on March 12, 2018 with a conference dedicated to the family, which will be held at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw.
A series of 10 nationwide scientific thematic conferences takes up issues in broadly considered socio-political, economic and cultural life. The conferences will be devoted to: family; work, entrepreneurship and the social market economy, citizenship and patriotism; freedom, sovereignty and the rule of law, culture and identity, dignity and social justice, ecology, social solidarity and sustainable development, the state in its relations with the church; Europe and the human person and its rights.
The culmination of the cycle will be the international congress in Krakow, which will take up the problem of conscience and responsibility in public life.
