Students of the Silesian University of Technology win the architectural competition Multi Comfort Student Contest

The project “CO.Living” of Anna Toborek and Joanna Machera, students of the architecture faculty of the Silesian University of Technology, won the prestigious international competition Multi Comfort Student Contest.

The competition has been organized since 2004 by Saint-Gobain for students of architecture. Polish students have been taking part in it since 2012, but for the first time the Polish team took the first place.

The theme of this year’s competition was to revive and restore the integration of the metro station Crescenzago in Milan in line with the vision of # milano2030. The task consisted of the creation of new housing and renovation strategies for the three existing multi-family buildings.

Students from the Silesian university in the final defeated 60 teams from 35 countries, as a reward they will go on an internship to a well-known architectural studio in Milan. The second place was taken by the team from Côte d’Ivoire, the third by the team from Belarus.
