Sumorobots from Bialystok University of Technology receive silver medals in Beijing

From August 10 to 12, the team SumoMasters from the Białystok University of Technology competed in Beijing in the Robotchallenge 2018. Robots of Białystok’s students won 3 silver medals in 3 different categories.

Every year, the competition in Beijing gathers an increasing number of participants from many countries of the world. About 1500 robots from 30 countries took part in the challenge this year. Due to such attendance and participation of so many countries, Robotchallenge in China are the second most important competition of the sumorobots in the world. – I am very happy with the attitude and results of our team and the fact that our robots can effectively fight not only in the Mega Sumo, but also in the Mini and Nano Sumo categories – said team supervisor, Dr Eng Rafał Grądzki.
