Researcher from the University of Bialystok to conduct research at the University of Alaska

Dr Julita Sadowska from the University of Bialystok (UWB) will conduct research for a year at the University of Alaska (Anchorage, USA) within the scholarship, which Dr. Sadowska obtained from the Bekker program carried out by the National Academic Exchange Agency.

The research object of Dr Sadowska from the Department of Animal Ecology at the Institute of Biology will be the arctic ground squirrel. Alaska is one of the places where these animals live. The researcher from Białystok received PLN 156 thousand for the implementation of her project.

The goal of the Bekker Program is to increase the international mobility of Polish scientists and academic teachers by enabling them to conduct research or teaching in the best foreign centers around the world.
