University of Opole to cooperate with the Łukasiewicz Research Network

The University of Opole will cooperate with the Łukasiewicz Research Network – the Polish Center for Technology Development (PORT). The agreement signed by the partners concerns the activity of the Research and Innovation Center for Civilization Diseases, which is being created at the University Clinical Hospital.

The letter of intent was signed by the director general of USK Dariusz Madera and director Łukasiewicz – PORT Andrzej Dybczyński. – This cooperation is very important to us, it gives us a chance to cooperate, to create value for each other and both benefit. For our entity operating in the field of medical biotechnology, direct contact with the world of medicine and doctors is extremely important – says Dybczyński.

The University Clinical Hospital is applying for funds for the Center for Research and Innovation in Civilization Diseases, which is to be created in the building of an old hospital laundry. After the reconstruction, there will be opened new laboratories, magnetic resonance imaging, tomography and teaching rooms.
