06.02.2020

The Association of Ornamental Poultry Breeders in Poland is organizing the Exhibition of Ornamental Chickens. This year’s exhibition will be held on February 8-9, 2020 at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW).

The exhibition will show chickens of the world, including China, Japan, Indonesia, England, Germany, the Netherlands and India. Participants will be able to admire the smallest chickens in the world, including Serama, Szabo and Sebritki – with a unique plumage pattern, or Silky chickens with a soft, furry plumage structure. In contrast, the world’s largest chickens will be also present including giant Brahma and Kochina with a weight of about 7-10 kg.

The exhibition is addressed to scientists, breeders and lovers of these birds from Poland and abroad. The exhibition organizers are inviting breeders of these animals, scientists conducting animal research, students, as well as representatives of industry companies. The organizers are planning that visitors will be able to see about 800 decorative chickens, which will be assessed by judges from Germany, Belgium, Slovenia and Slovakia.
